RANKS: Enlistees/Specialists


Private: Trainees.



Privat First Class:Normal Infantry units.

Lance Corporal:Does not command any units unless appointed second in command in a section.

Corporal:Often hold the point of section leader.

3rd Sergeant: Section Commanders in combat units. Some also hold the rank of 'Company Quater Sergeant'.

2nd Sergeant:Often placed as 'Platoon Sergeant'.

1st Sergeant:Often given responsibility for indipendently-operating detatchments of support weapons.

Staff Sergeant:May be appointed as Company Sergeant Major if due for promotion to Master Sergeant.

Master Sergeant:Adressed as Company Master Sergeant and some are appointed to guide young soldiers.
